ABSTRACT

Despite the growing importance of digital transformation and organizational climate in education, there is a notable gap in the literature regarding their combined impact on teacher job satisfaction. Understanding the interplay between these factors is essential as it can provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by teachers in the digital age. Therefore, this research seeks to address this gap by examining the impact of digital transformation and organizational climate on job satisfaction of teachers using Great Everlee College, New Chrisfield College and Community Junior Secondary School, Ikorodu  in Lagos state/ The population consisted of Seventy-Five (75) teachers which was randomly selected, 30 teachers in Great Everlee College, 20 in New Chrisfield and 25 in Community Junior Secondary School, Lagos State. The instruments used were Digital Orientation Scale (DOE), Organizational Climate Questionnaire (OCQ) and Job Satisfaction Questionnaire. Findings from the study showed that there was significant impact of Digital transformation on Job Satisfaction. It also showed that there was a significant impact of Organizational climate on Job Satisfaction and there was a significant relationship between Digital transformation, Organizational climate and Job Satisfaction. This study concluded that digital transformation and organizational climate both play important roles in influencing the job satisfaction of teachers. It recommended that teachers have access to the necessary resources and infrastructure to effectively utilize digital technologies. This includes providing reliable internet connectivity, up-to-date devices, and relevant software and applications. Insufficient resources can hinder the adoption of technology and negatively impact job satisfaction.
