The study findings revealed that the sample constituted of 50 respondents of which 33 (66%) were males and 17 (34° o) remaining were females. This implies that males are the majority. This implies that the most respondents were men clue to the societal beliefs that the males are hardworking and hence capable of ensuring effective public finance management and thus improve on educational service dclivery in Mukono District. The study concludes that public finance management is that it helps to provide sufficient information to decision makers and thus boost the education service delivery. For instance the money collected is used for the benefit of people through provision of universal education hence leading to proper utilization of educational resources. The study recommends that considering the huge work and insufficient money, the provincial government should carry on main responsibility to afford compulsory funding of the community. To achieve the equal and high quality compulsory public finance, the central government should increase its input in local area, with the transfer to local government, especially those in undeveloped regions.
