ABSTRACT The research study was conducted to find out the effect of supply chain management on quality assurance in an organization, taking a case study of UBOS Headquarters. The study was to examine the effect supply chain management on quality of the products or service results in UBOS organization. It had the following specific objectives; (i) Examine the causes of poor flows of funds from government to donors; (ii) Identify whether there is SCM at UBOS; (iii) Identify the process involved in the SCM to suggest relevant solutions that can address the challenges and short comings of SCM at UBOS. Different methods were used to collect data; these included questionnaires, interview guides and observation. These were later edited, coded, classified, tabulated, and analyzed. The sample population was selected using stratified sampling. According to the research, the findings reveal that the staff in the organization understands the importance of SCM in relation to quality assurance and performance of the organization. The researcher then recommended the companies can improve their competitive advantage maintaining continuous supply chain. Management should lay foundation for increasing on income to produce additional products or services. Management should also streamline financial management and administrative systems and procedures to meet the requirement of basket funding modalities.
