This study aimed at examining the effect of inventory management techniques on the productivity of workers in plantation Industries Limited. The study sought to find the inventory management techniques used by the company, establish the level of effectiveness of inventory management techniques in the company and also determine the level of commitment of the workers in Plantation Industries Limited in using the identified inventory management techniques. The study adopted the descriptive research design. The target population included the Human resource, Marketing, Procurement and Production departments of the company. Out of 100 members of staff, a sample size of 44 was used. A questionnaire was used as data collection instrument. One questionnaire was issued to one respondent at random from each of the departments included in the sample. The study found out that Plantation Industries Limited used various inventory management techniques such as the action level method, just-in-time, material requirement planning and economic order quantity; and of all these techniques used in the company, Action level Method was the technique the workers were most committed to and the effect of this is that the workers were able to optimize their stock for production and also ensure that there was no situation of inadequate stock.
