Abstract
This study will aim at investigating the influence of managers' role on effective performance of hotels, a case study of Capri con Hotel Kabale, Managers are individuals in an organization who direct the activities of others. Managers work with and through employees who are in most cases termed as operatives. There are different categories of managers that include first line, middle and top managers. They aim at fulfilling the goals of the organization. Capri con Hotel is one of the kabale hotels located on makanga hill just ten minutes drive from kabale-kisoro road. The hotel has 40 air conditioned rooms with a work desk, private bathrooms, satellite television on large screens not forgetting the elegant furnishing in the rooms. Aisha (2008) further notes that the three specialty five star restaurants offer orientation, intercontinental and local cuisine at the hotels traditional during or with the 24 hour in room dining. The Indian cuisine is served at Bambocha restaurant. The restaurants also offer outdoor catering services. As a complimentary, the Bamboo restaurant services English breakfast between 7:00am and !O:OOam The main bar is the Rhino bar that serves exotic snacks and cocktails at night and special buffet presentations of 360 people. There are five halls and functional rooms, audio and visual equipments are also available. There are two car parks at the hotel. All hotel guests are invited to enjoy the swimming pool, sauna, health club and discotheque freely but an extra fee in case one needs a massage. There is a shopping mall and a business centre at the hotel for easy shopping for each room, complimentary services such as hotel coach, newspapers are at your disposal, Bunyonyi overland and Bwindi hotel reservation.
