INTRODUCTION
Computer aided teaching series is becoming an efficient and reliable means of teaching and learning. The development and continual dominance of high level procedural language enables the development and distribution of standard tutorial software or with the help of sophisticated programs the computer can serve as a tutor or a teacher on any subject. Like with human being, the computer can be used to teach you what you don’t know and make it understandable to you.
A computer aided teaching series (CATS) systems is a collection of lecture materials that tries to teach. It follows a particular sequence of operation on the material presentation as this made the computer aided teaching series lesson effective.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Electronic learning or E-learning is a general term used to refer to computer-enhanced learning. It is used interchangeably in so many contexts that it is critical to be clear what one means when one speaks of 'e learning'. In many respects, it is commonly associated with the field of advanced learning technology (ALT), which deals with both the technologies and associated methodologies in learning using networked and/or multimedia technologies.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
This is the procedural study of its operation with an attempt to discover over its basic problem areas. This involves an analysis of the present system, with evaluation of its efficiency and cost i.e. uncovering the major problem areas that must be eliminated. This is done through information gathering about the existing system, operation data files design, input forms design, system flowcharts and top down design of the sub systems.

SOFTWARE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION
Software design and implementation is all about the actual program codes that are implemented in the system design done in chapter three above. The code must conform to the system requirement set. Visual Basic programming language which is an object oriented programming language was used for the design of this project. The version used was visual basic 6.0 which is one of the most recent versions.
Also Microsoft Access was used to create the database file that contains the entire relevant table where data are stored in an organized manner.

SYSTEM TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION
Subsystem testing and integration involves the overall testing of the different subsystem of the program individually and in combination with other modules. This also involves the systematic combination of these modules and the corresponding interfacing between them.
Testing is the process of running a program on a sample data to find out possible errors running a program. During the logical structure i.e. line by line error checking of the program was examined.
