                                                                          ABSTRACT
Qualitative Petrophysical Analysis of Wabi 10 well, located in the Wabi Oil Field in the Niger Delta was carried out. The wire-line log comprising of gamma rays, resistivity and neutron – density logs provided by Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (TEPNL) was used. The properties considered include Lithofacies, the Permeable and Impermeable beds with their boundaries, the Fluids bearing zones and the Nature of the fluids. Four (4) reservoirs were inferred from this study viz A, B, C, D at depth intervals of 3515 – 3532 ft, 3560 – 3587 ft, 3723 - 3740 ft and 3835 - 3868 ft with the top and bases of the depth from 1983 – 4505 ft. The analyses indicate that Gas – Oil Contact (GOC) been observed at depth intervals of 3560 ft, 3730 ft and 3867 ft. The Oil – Water Contact (OWC) were inferred at depth intervals of 3567 ft, 3740 ft and 3873 ft. There were three (3) massive permeable zones (sandstones) with few intercalations of sandstone and shale at depth intervals of 2000 – 2120 ft, 2820 – 3320 ft, 4030 – 4505 ft and three (3) massive impermeable zones (shale) with few intercalations of sandstones and shale at depth intervals of 2120 – 2820 ft, 3320 – 3807 ft, and 3807 – 4030 ft were inferred. These results suggest good enough hydrocarbon potential and a reservoir system whose performance is considered satisfactory for hydrocarbon production.
