ABSTRACT
This aims at determining this effort of motivation on the attitudes and practices of workers towards achieving higher productivity with reference to UNION BANK PLC OKPARA AVENUE, ENUGU.
The Union Bank Plc was chosen taking into consideration the position of financial institution in the banking sector today in Nigeria.  This bank having been recognized or looked at as one of the most successful in their sector.
The study, therefore, seeks to find out how best to motivate the workers of the Union Bank for maximum productivity.  This now makes necessary for the study to divide into 5 (five) chapters.
Chapter one is an introductory aspect of the study.  It contains items as the statement of the problem, purpose and significance of the study, introduction, scope of study and research question.
Chapter two is made up essentially of literature review where attempt is made to kept he readers abreast of the theories undying the subject matter and the view of some writers.
Chapter three deals with methodology, research design, area of study, population of study, sample/sampling technique, instrument of data collection, validation of instrument, reliability of the instrument, method of data collection and method of data analysis.
Chapter four which is the fourth chapter contains data presentation and results and summary of results.
Chapter five is the last chapter that shows discussions of result, conclusions, recommendations and limitations of study.
It is believed that this study will not only serve as an academic text but will also help management of organization especially the Union Bank Plc.
