This research is titled, “The Consequences of Premarital Sex in Genesis 34:1-5, 25-31 and its implications to Curbing Sexual Immorality among the Youth of Arochukwu Presbytery.” Although, God designed humanity to be “a sexual being” sexual activities are placed within the context of holiness and faithfulness, as God stipulates diverse rules which regulate every sexual activity ensuring that all sexual activities are appropriated in accordance to God’s decretal will. Unfortunately, all the consequences inherent in an attempt to violate the rules governing human sexuality, our society today and Arochukwu Presbytery in particular is rampaging with youth who have had premarital sex or any other forms of sexual immorality outside marriage. The rate is so alarming because the society as well as the church, directly or indirectly, encourages premarital sex, as sex has even become a god to the youths in the society. Consequent upon this, the youth faces premature death, frustration, depression, teenage pregnancy, jeopardized future and future plans, loss of integrity and infidelity in marriage. Hence, this research aims at unveiling the consequences and leading factors of premarital sex drawing inference from Genesis 34:1-5, 25-31, and from there establish how to curb sexual immorality among Arochukwu youth. The research adopted descriptive and exegetical methods of data analysis in order to achieve its aim, using primary and secondary sources of data collections. The research discovered that the rate of sexual immorality among Arochukwu Presbytery youth is prevailing because of impatience on the side of the youth; freedom, over pampering and improper upbringing on the side of parents; living among corrupt people in the society as well as amoral life creeping inside the church. Thus, it is recommended among other things that the youth should decide to live disciplined life, while the church and other social institutions should prioritized sex education and seminars so as to curb sexual immorality among the youth of Arochukwu Presbytery.
