There is need for people to have peace of mind at their work place that can only be possible through motivating them. Drucker asserts that human resource is all economic resources, the one last efficiently used and that the greatest opportunity for improved economic performance lies in the improvement of the effectiveness of people in their work. Drucker continues to argue that management of employees and their work is one of the basic functions of management.
