ABSTRACT
This research work is centered on “A study of problems associated with Revenue Generation and Management in Local Government councils in Benue state”. Guma Local Government council has been used as a case study.  The project work comprises of five chapters in all. In chapter one, the writer deals with the questions, objectives of study, research Hypothesis, significant of the study, scope of the study and definition of terms. In chapter two, the writer reviewed the related literature of the study. The literature concentrates on revenue generation collection and management.

The third chapter focuses on how the researcher goes about gathering data such as method and procedure, population and sample size, method of data collection, procedure of data collection and method of data analysis Chapter four takes care of treating the data that have been collected. The writer presents analysis and interpreted the information in order to serve the purpose the study is carried out. In chapter five, the writer summarized the work and draws up conclusions and he finally makes some possible recommendations.
