Executive Summary

When everything is a priority, nothing is a priority. And as executives struggle to make sense of the post-COVID corporate environment, many find themselves driven by this grey area of

indecision. Two years ago, relatively few executives saw skills in crisis management, business agility, cost management, workforce resilience, innovation or cash management as essential. critically important to their activities. Today, however, senior executives tell a different story. The reports on post work after COVID-19 is the look at the pandemic’s long-term influence on consumption and potential for a broad recovery led by enhanced productivity and innovation. Here, we assess the lasting impact of pandemic on the mix of occupations, and the workforce skills required with diverse economic and market models. This report provides first-hand insight to timely issues related to compensation and business and leadership strategies. The topics of diversity and inclusion, as well as equity and the gender pay gap, are currently front and centre among private and public companies and non-profits, as well as the public at large. Survey results from many organizations indicate some interesting trends in terms of how they view these issues and what, in practice, they may be doing to address them. In this report, we look at results from our 2020 & 2021 survey, incorporating trends from our 2019 inaugural DEI survey.
