ABSTRACT
This research work is aimed at recommending possible solution to the organization and management problem of rural water supply programme in Nigeria with a case study of ANSWC Nnewi. The mean or average number of adult and children in the sample household are 3 and 6 respectively and total income reported is N200 to 100 per household per month.
The statement of the problems is that the growing commercial and industrial town of Nnewi has been without adequate possible water.
The purpose of the study is that the extent in which the changes in government and leadership style affect the steady water supply.
Based on the finding above, the following recommendation among other was made for effective implementation. The operational supplier facilities such as basic tools spare available.
Finally, it is also recommended that ANWC should surmise to know how eater they are producing and how much water are being lasted so as to be able to determine their operational efficiency.

INTRODUCTION
This project is based on organization and management problem of rural water supply in Nigeria. A case study of Anambra State water co-operation Nnewi.
Nigeria is blessed by nature with lot of natural resources among which among which water is one of them. Water as it is said is life, it is a daily need in household, in household industries, agriculture sectors but mention a few. In other words, it is needed by almost all the sectors of the economic. The importance of water cannot be over emphases. Most rural and urban are, area still in short supplies despite the availability, it needs to be treated before consumption thus, the government agency responsible for water spends a lot of money to treat water.
World Health Organization (1996) maintained that the supply of water to majority of the populace especially the rural areas is very much adequate.
