ABSTRACT
This study examined the effect of corporate social responsibility on organizational performance in Durabe Bakery, Minna, Niger State. Three research questions were formulated to guide the study. The research design adopted for the study was a descriptive survey design. The sample of the study constituted of 100 respondents. A questionnaire was used to gather data while table and simple percentage were used to analyze the data. Major findings revealed that CSR ranges as actions that appear to further some social good, beyond the interests of the firm and that which is required by law’ to one that is narrowly focused on maximizing shareholder wealth, there is limited resources and sometimes companies exceed their budget allocated to CSR as people keep on coming to them to solicit help and CSR is a process whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interactions with the full range of their stakeholders on a voluntary basis. It was recommended that inter rural road network should be constructed for the benefit of communities doing businesses in that environment; companies should integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interactions with the full range of their stakeholders on a voluntary basis and business corporation's should to partner with social action groups in providing financial and other resources to support development plans, especially among disadvantaged communities.
