Important concept to imbibe by parents is informal education and socialization. If parents really want to see good out of their children, socialization should be effectively considered than any other thing, because it give a child lifelong education. It will also command respect in what they do and also give a sense of maturity to every youth no matter how small he/she is in the family. Informal education is one of the best because it builds the religious life of the youths. Therefore, parents need to build up their children based on the word of God. Based on the outcome, findings and analysis it was believed that some parents play their roles in child upbringing in Nigeria and this will result to a better society. While others don’t and we have bad boys/girls, the data was also analysed and the findings show that parents still need a good knowledge of their role because charity begins at home. Therefore, parents should not see role play as a mere object because this role play is like a mustard seed.
