Published materials to be content analyzed, cover only the period of (6) month from January-June, in other words, (January-February and March) prior to election period, (April) the period of election and (May, June) period after election. It is also restricted to the reportage of two national dailies: the Daily Trust and Leadership, this is because it is impossible to analyze press coverage of women participation in politics in all the national dailies. However, the choice of these Newspapers is influence by the fact that these two dailies enjoy wide readership and circulation around the country in respective of any geo-political, religion or environmental   influence.   Also   base   on   the   fact   that   both   papers   report   issues without   fear   of   intimidation   or  harassment,   they   are   however   seen  as   (radical press).
