This study investigates the role Small and Medium Scale Enterprise and Infrastructural Development in Nigeria. The basic objective of the study is to examine how infrastructure contributes to the Nigerian economic development. The use of questionnaire was employed to get the needed information from the selected population. The information gotten were therefore analyzed and interpreted in other to test the hypothesis. A total of 100 SMEs were randomly selected from Oyo Township. The responses were collated and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) analytical tool.From the findings, the researcher discovered that there is significant relationship between SMEs and infrastructural development in which 75% (75 respondents) believed that Small and Medium Scale Enterprises contributed to the infrastructural development in Nigeria, 80% (80 respondents) believe that these infrastructures aid the operations and reduce cost of production of the SMEs in Oyo Township. Also, 93% (93 respondents) believed that Small and Medium Scale Enterprises contributed to the Nigeria economic growth and development. The study however recommended that incentives should be given toadequate infrastructures to boost the operations of the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Nigerian economy
