 With respect to the overview and the information provided by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) a research was carried out on the users of the four major network operators in Lagos sub-geographical region. However the objectives of this research was to x-ray the activities of this four major network providers amidst its users determining

The most acceptable network provider/leading telecom provider with the largest subscriber base.
The switching of brands amidst the users and the reason(s) why this is done.
The fastest growing network and the reason for it being the fastest.
And so many objectives highlighted in the compiled report.
In other words, much concentration was not laid on who is the leading telecom in terms of subscriber base, the fastest growing telecom or other information available from NCC. This of course is an established fact of which we know would already be in existence with them, we have only buttressed the fact. But our core focus/emphasis is on the study of the fact that the uncontrollable competition amidst these network providers brought about some users/customers switching to other network the concept known as BRAND SWITCHING yet some remain loyal.
Behind all this actions there is of course a WHY,WHEN and HOW which are what we have taking out time to determine.
Therefore, the various REASONS that we have obtained had gone a long way in helping us back up our claim.
