CONSTRUCTION OF RC MULTISTAGE COUPLED AMPLIFIER
ABSTRACT

The aim of this project work is to create an alternative sound amplifying circuit that will enable the enhancement of electronic production. This portable RC coupled amplifier constructed with very cheap and locally sourced materials found reliable and effective in function. Thus the construction of this electronic device, RC coupled amplifier will help to eliminate the problem of voice stressing and it will enable the sound of instrument or equipment which are connected to the amplifier to be increased. However, the constructed circuit is hereby recommended to the public as whole who would want to make use of the amplifier, as the work is reliable and effective. The technical know how i.e ( the method to be used for anybody who would want to construct this same project work is contained chapter 3 of the booklet). It was constructed at Nwachukwu construction store situated at Abakpa Nike Enugu state.

CHAPTER ONE
1.0       INTRODUCTION
1.1    A GENERAL OVERVIEW OF AN R.C COUPLED AMPLIFIER
R.C coupled amplifier is said to be the principle of operation of the resistance capacitance couple and equally analyze signals. It is equally defined as a system or an electric circuit which accept signals at its input and gives out signals at its output in amplitude of power or current. In addition, R.C coupled amplifiers were used very often and in circuits with vacuum tube or discrete transistors (K.F. Ibrahim 1998).
Furthermore, resistance capacitance coupling in the important methods of coupling the signal from one stage of amplification to the next stage. Thus in this method, the signal development across the collection resistor of each stage in coupled though capacitor into the base of the next stage. The cascaded stage amplifies the signal and the overall gain is equal to the product of individual stage gains. Therefore, the amplifier using R.C coupling is called RC coupled amplifier.
1.2    AIMS/OBJECTIVES:
This is to design and construct an RC coupled amplifier and to properly understand it’s operational principles.
1.3    STATEMENT OF PROBLEM:
It is because of the poor impedance matching and the overall low amplification gain that informed our carrying out this research as to find solution of these lapses of the RC amplifier.
