ABSTRACT

The aim of this design work is to allow traffic light to rotate over a designated time interval between the two roads concerned i.e IMT and ESUT Junction. This design will control and monitor devices and cars within its environment i.e the junction.
It will as well steer small vehicles showing them how to obey the traffic instructions coming from the traffic signals. The system is designed to operate in a red time mode to monitor the volume of traffic light.
The project will determine whether any of the devices is defective and of the same time, send signals to indicate faulty devices. The software also includes the maintenance of these devices giving warning signs wherever a fault is detected.
The software is designed to detect the flow of traffic showing how and when vehicles will be passed or in order words, it is the aim of the project to solve problems as a result of manual and simulate the existing system into a new system.
