ABSTRACT
This paper is to find the potentials of the state tourism board and to design a tourist enquire system that supplies geographical and tourist information for the tourist in Nigeria.
The system will basically be used as a tourist guide for the museums, archeological and historical sites and monuments that lie in Nigeria and Enugu state being the case study. Moreover, it would provide information about the cultural invents (shows, exhibitions etc) and all the information that is found to be for a visitor (phone numbers, entertainment, sports centres, shopping etc).
In other to provide these information different kinds of data should be included and presented. These data will contain data maps of archeological and historical sites, photos of places and monuments, videos images, text (in many languages) music and sound.
Finally, this recommended if fully implemented will go a long way in presenting a good image for Enugu state in the outside world and serve as means of revenue making venture.
