ABSTRACT
The need for increase productivity in our industries totally cannot be  over emphasized. This is  evidenced by the development of new technologies to the highest level. Man is needed in concert with other resources. However, man’s behavior cannot be objectively predicted given the complexity of intervening variable that to a large extent determined his behaviour. But there is as general belief that the ability of man to push up productivity in the industry of company depends on how satisfied  he is  whether this is rue or not is the issues that this research is deigned to find out.
Thus, this research project intends to find out if there is any relationship  between  job satisfaction and productivity ther is, what kind  of relation?
Unic  insurance company was chosen as a case study in order to effectively carryout the study, data was collected by the use of self administered questionnaire.
Finally, to carryout a  successful research work, this study will be divided into five chapters, and each of the chapters will exhausting and clearly dealt with in the main text of the study.
