ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of job stress on employee job satisfaction. The study was to investigate the relationship between job stress and employee satisfaction. The descriptive survey research design was used because the whole population cannot be effectively studied. For the purpose of this research three banks was selected. A sample of one hundred (100) staff was selected using quota sampling technique, the data collected from questionnaire was analyzed with statistical package for social science (SPSS) using correlation coefficient at 5% level of significance. The findings revealed that there is a relationship between job stress and job satisfaction. The study recommended that managements should ensure work flexibility and favourable working environment to minimize job stress in their organization.
