ABSTRACT

The main objectives of this study are to find out the problems of management in Government Parastatals using Presidential Hotel Enugu as the case study, identifying the effectiveness and efficient utilization of both resources. The researchers, used both primary and secondary data to obtain her information. This is done through oral interview and administration of questionnaire to the staff of Hotel Presidential Enugu. Hotel Presidential is facing a myriad of problems occasional by the economic down fall in the nations economy.  This ranges from obsolete equipments to back of proper findings by the government. Also the relationship between workers and the management has not been very cordial. This has seriously affected their jobs, some deliberately decided to come late to work and are ready to receive query from their immediate supervisor or the management. As all creative efforts, by the authorities have not yield much fruits, it is believed that the government therefore, should take over complete funding of Hotel presidential, Enugu so that management can perform creditably.
