This research work examines “A Sociological Analysis of Small Scale Enterprises involving Ekpoma Community as the selected case study”. The objective of the study is to examine the sociological analysis of Small Scale enterprises in Ekpoma community as well as importance of Small Scale industries on the Nigerian economy. The research also seeks to find out the impact of Small Scale enterprise in aiding job creation in Ekpoma community. The study sample was 200 respondents from Ekpoma community. The simple percentage (%) method was used to analyze the questionnaires returned and the research questions constructed in the work. Based on the findings, the researcher concluded that small-Scale Enterprises have made impact in improving the socio-economic well being of the Nigerian people. Also, the education level of small-scale enterprises operators determine their level of sources. Lastly, government/Regulation do not hinder the operation/activities of small-scale business. It is therefore recommended that the Federal Government should allocate a larger share of national development budgets to the Local Government Authority, and apportion a team of consultants who will monitor, evaluate projects, and ensure compliance to Federal government rural development plan. Also, our youth Corpers should be properly trained during service year, on how to be self-reliant through establishment of small-scale industries in our rural areas. Interest free loan should be granted to any of them who is willing to commence with the end of his/her service.
